Battery Charging Icon

Dec 15, 2011it charges but it doesn't show the charging symbol on the battery icon. Battery is set to maximize my battery health. However as per the hp forums which states smart charging display heart icon in windows 11 battery indicator.

My laptop only works when plugged in, unplug and it goes off dead, when plugged in the battery icon is there but the white bar not moving - 8362167 May 23, 2017immediately ordered new battery. In the meantime, when operating laptop on battery power, battery icon showns "plugged in, charging" when not plugged in.

I bought a hp laptop 15-fd0383tu on 11/4/2025 and wanted to know if it has smart charging. Charging the laptop to 80%. I did see the heart symbol on the battery icon in the task.

May 15, 2020i understand that the battery icon doesn't show as charging. Apr 23, 2019my battery icon keeps disappearing when i turn on the laptop. I go to "device manager", select the "batteries", then the microsoft ac adapter, right click on "disable device" and then "enable.

So, when i plug the charging cable to my laptop, it starts charging the battery the as usual (orange light). But after some time, it stops charging and also. Mar 17, 2015i understand that your battery is not charging, and that there is an x over the battery icon.

Aug 28, 2024i have noticed that regardless of whether my new laptop has a charger plugged in or not (i've tried two different applicable hp chargers) the chargiung icon still shows as the battery as.
