Enroll In WGU

Jul 2, 2014the dictionary says that one enrolls in a university, but today i heard a person saying "the student enrolled at the school." is it right? Feb 13, 2021a quick google using the british spelling (enrol) suggests that “enrol for” is the most common, followed by “enrol on” a course. I understand words like cancel and resign would work, but is there an appropriate antonym with "enroll" in it?
