Is Dr Alan Mandell A Real Doctor

Feb 22, 2017recently, i was reading articles on the net and realised that there is a lot of ambiguity over the usage of dr. Oct 26, 2016"dr." is an abbreviation for "doctor", and either can be used in most situations. I think when you use "dr" or "dr's" (with or without the period) as an abbreviation for doctor, it's fine if used in an informal setting.

After all, you are abbreviating the word "doctor" in a generic. Before the name of all who hold medical doctor degrees and doctorates is cumbersome for readers.
