Is My True Identity Legit

Dec 21, 2019i just signed up for true identity. The email indicated they are offering 1 year of free identity theft protection and a link to mytrueidentity.ca. Transunion asked for me credit card info as a way to "verify my identity." it didn't say my credit card info would be used for paying transunion.
